ApprovePro is a Shopify app that lets you share design proofs, gather feedback, and capture customer approvals. It replaces messy email threads with a clean organised process.
What is order proofing?
Order proofing is the process of sharing a visual proof — such as a design, label, or artwork — with a customer before production, gathering feedback, and capturing their approval on the final version.
I do not work with designers or 3rd parties. Can I use ApprovePro?
Yes. ApprovePro is a great solution for small teams or freelancers who need a simple, easy-to-use approval process.
How do auto-approvals work?
Set a default number of days after which a design should be automatically approved. If the customer has not responded by then, ApprovePro marks the design as approved and notifies your team so production can start.
How do customers receive and approve their design proofs?
Customers receive an email with a secure link — no account or login required. The link opens a page displaying the designs where they can approve or request revisions.
What file types can I upload as design proofs?
ApprovePro supports JPG, PNG, SVG, and PDF uploads.
Do my designers need Shopify access?
No. Designer accounts can be created inside ApprovePro, giving them a secure portal to upload revisions without exposing the rest of your Shopify admin.
Will customers get automatic reminders?
Yes, set the reminder cadence and ApprovePro will keep nudging customers until the proof is approved or auto-approved.
What counts as a processed order?
Any order that receives one or more design uploads counts as a processed order. If your store receives 100 orders per month, but only 10 orders go through approval, then this counts as 10 orders.
What happens if I exceed my monthly order approval limit?
You can upgrade to a higher plan at any time. Existing approvals continue to work.
Can I change plans or cancel anytime?
Yes. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from inside the app at any time — no contracts, no lock-in.
Can email notifications be sent from my own domain?
Yes, all plans allow for emails to be sent from custom domains.
